First Lady Charla Johnson

Lady Charla is a native of the city of Merced located in the San Joaquin Valley in central California. She is the wife of the Senior Pastor, Curtis Johnson and together they partner in ministry at the Valley Brook Outreach Baptist Church in Pelzer, SC.

Lady Charla is a visionary in her own right and through her commitment to the Kingdom of God, she has established and founded the Women of Virtue ministries which has been in existence for over 20 years, The Minister's Source of Strength, and S.A.G.E. (Simple Adjustments for a Greener Environment). She developed and managed the Spirit Fest Legends talent competition for 10 years and served as the Director of Music & Arts and praise & worship leader for the Valley Brook Outreach Baptist Church for over 20 years.

She is employed with Jackson Marketing Motorsports & Events as the Executive Assistant to the CEO/President. And she currently serves as the Production Director for Showtime Productions a Christian-based, nonprofit urban theater company based out of the upstate of South Carolina.

In addition to all that she does, she has a passion for cooking and serves delicious home cooked food through her up and coming business Side by Side that offers southern style home cooked side dishes.

She is the eldest of four children of the late Elder Sam Jones and Mother Donna Jones. She and Pastor Johnson are the proud parents of two sons Isaiah & Joshua.
